Cos☆Kira Event Guidelines
A Safe, Inclusive, and Joyful Space for All
We’re so excited to welcome you to Cos☆Kira! To make sure everyone has a fun, safe, and respectful experience, we ask all attendees to follow these community guidelines:
1. Age & Entry
This is a 17+ event. All guests must present a valid state-issued photo ID at the door.
You must be 21+ to purchase or consume alcohol. IDs will be re-checked at bars.
2. Cosplay with Respect
We love and celebrate all cosplay—just keep it kind:
No hate symbols or offensive costumes.
No realistic or dangerous weapons. All props must pass security check.
Cosplay is not consent. Always ask before touching a person or their costume.
3. Safety & Security
Bag checks and metal detectors are required for entry.
Our trained safety team is available all night. If you ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please seek them out—we’re here for you.
4. Zero Tolerance for Harassment
Harassment of any kind—verbal, physical, or visual—will not be tolerated.
Anyone violating this policy may be removed without refund.
Again: cosplay is not consent. Ask first. Always.
5. Photography & Filming
Feel free to take photos and videos, but:
Always get consent before photographing anyone close-up or in an identifiable way.
If someone asks not to be filmed, respect that immediately.
6. Accessibility
Our venue includes ramp access and accessible bathrooms.
Need help or accommodations? Find a staff member—we’re happy to assist.
7. Behavior & Vibes
Be kind. Be mindful. Be your best self.
Respect other guests and staff.
No drugs, vaping, or substance abuse of any kind inside.
Dance safely and give others space to enjoy the night, too.
8. No Outside Items
No outside food or drinks allowed.
No outside sales, vending, or trading permitted.
9. No Smoking Indoors
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the venue. Please use designated outdoor areas only.
We’re here to create something magical together. Your energy, your creativity, and your kindness make Cos☆Kira what it is. Let’s take care of each other and make this a night to remember.
If you see something concerning—or need help—talk to a staff member immediately.
